How to use this calculator
- Enter the total number of exam topics.
- Enter how many topics are already reviewed.
- Add days remaining until the exam.
- Enter the estimated minutes needed per topic.
Use this student revision calculator to plan exam review by topics, days remaining, and time per topic. It estimates daily revision load, progress, readiness, and priority pressure.
The result shows the daily revision pace required to finish before the exam. A high daily topic count means the student should prioritize weak or high-value topics first.
Difficult topics may require more time than the average minutes entered. Add a review buffer before the final exam day.
If 40 topics are required, 12 are reviewed, and 14 days remain, the student needs 2 topics per day. At 25 minutes per topic, that is about 50 minutes daily.
Subtract reviewed topics from total topics and divide by days until the exam.
Multiply required topics per day by the estimated minutes per topic.
Start with weak, high-weight, or frequently tested topics.
You can check whether the daily topic load and daily minutes are realistic.
Divide topics across remaining days, then reserve buffer time for practice tests and mistakes.
