How to use this text tool

- Select Clean Comment or press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter.
- Review the result against the original before copying or downloading it.
Create a safer working copy of a hostile comment while keeping enough context for moderation, classroom, or support review. The cleaner detects a limited, editable set of common insults, profanity, threat phrases, and aggressive commands. You can replace matched language with category labels or use softer wording for selected phrases. The original meaning can change during cleanup, so preserve the source separately and never treat the cleaned copy as an evidentiary record.
It produces a working copy with configured hostile expressions replaced and separately reports which categories were detected.
Keep the original comment unchanged in your moderation record; cleaning can remove tone and evidentiary detail.
Input: “Shut up, idiot.”
Label output: “[HOSTILE COMMAND], [INSULT].”
