No. Processing happens in the current browser tab, and the selected audio is not sent to Callaudio.

Which audio files can I use?

Why can a valid audio file fail to open?

Codec support differs by browser and operating system. Try a current desktop browser or convert the source to WAV first.

Will the downloaded file match the original format?

Most editing tools export 16-bit PCM WAV because browsers can create it reliably. A tool states clearly when it uses another format.

Is there a practical file size limit?

Yes. Decoded audio is held in memory, so shorter files are safer. Very large or long recordings may exceed the memory available to the tab.
