What the result means

The result shows both score percentage and answer accuracy. If accuracy and points differ, partial credit or weighted questions may be affecting the grade.

Quiz grade = points earned ÷ total points × 100. Accuracy rate = correct answers ÷ total questions × 100.

Use the grade with your course policy. Some classes use different pass lines or letter grade cutoffs.

Example calculation

If you answered 42 of 50 questions and earned 84 out of 100 points, your quiz grade and accuracy are both 84%.

Tips for better results

  • Review missed question types first.
  • Compare accuracy with points to detect partial-credit losses.
  • Set a target score before retaking.
  • Track quiz trend across attempts.

FAQ

What score do I need to pass my quiz?

Enter your quiz score and compare it with the passing line to see whether you passed and how many percentage points you need.

How many questions can I miss on a quiz?

The answer depends on total questions and required percentage. Use the accuracy result to estimate how many missed questions still keep you above target.

What quiz score is considered an A?

Many courses use 90% or higher as an A, but your class may use a different scale.

How can I improve my quiz accuracy?

Group missed questions by topic, review the highest-frequency mistakes, and retest only those weak areas first.
