How to use this calculator

Enter total topics, topics already reviewed, difficult topics, and average minutes per topic. The calculator assumes a 10-day revision window for quick exam planning.

Difficult topics receive extra review weight because they usually require more practice and repetition.

What the result means

The result shows total revision hours and daily topic load. A lower load means you are close to ready. A high load means difficult topics should be prioritized immediately.

Revision hours = Remaining topics × Minutes per topic + Difficult topics × Minutes per topic × 50%

The default 10-day window is useful for final review planning. Adjust mentally if your actual exam window is shorter or longer.

Example calculation

If 14 topics remain, 5 are difficult, and each topic takes 45 minutes, total revision time is about 13.1 hours.

Tips for better results

  • Review difficult topics first while there is still time.
  • Use active recall instead of rereading only.
  • Reserve the final 2 to 3 days for mixed practice and error review.
