Supported formats
The tool accepts browser-decodable still images. Animated input is handled as a single displayed frame. SVG is not accepted for pixel tools because safe rasterization varies by browser.

FAQ
What counts as a transparent edge?
A row or column is trimmed only when every pixel in it is at or below the selected alpha threshold.
Will semi-transparent shadows be cropped away?
Not with the default strict threshold. Raising the threshold can trim faint shadow pixels, so inspect the preview carefully.
Why did the image size stay the same?
At least one nontransparent pixel reaches each outer edge, leaving no fully transparent border to remove.
Can I auto-crop a JPEG background?
JPEG has no alpha channel, so this tool is intended for PNG and transparent WebP files. Use a background-removal tool first.
Does cropping change the visible pixels?
Visible pixels are copied without scaling or filtering. Only transparent outer rows and columns are removed.
