How to use this office tool
- Choose an Excel workbook with one or more worksheets.
- Create the index and review sheet counts and visibility.
- Download the new workbook and test its internal links in Excel.
Add a front-page index to an Excel workbook with worksheet names, visibility, dimensions, used ranges, and clickable internal sheet links.
The organizer creates a new workbook containing an Index sheet followed by copies of the source sheets. Each index row links to cell A1 of its worksheet.
Basic values and formulas are copied, but advanced Excel objects and some formatting may not be preserved by the browser export.
Files are processed locally. XLSX and XLS workbooks are read with SheetJS; CSV and TSV files are parsed with delimiter-aware handling. Advanced Excel features may not be preserved in generated files.
