Different bookmakers and exchanges can quote the same market in decimal, fractional, American, Hong Kong, Malay, Indonesian, or exchange-style prices. The tools here are built for translating those formats and comparing markets without doing the conversions by hand. They also cover back/lay relationships, commission-adjusted exchange prices, arbitrage comparisons, and side-by-side bookmaker checks.
When comparing prices, use the effective price you can actually receive. Exchange commission, promotional boosts, minimum-stake rules, and rounding can make two apparently similar quotes behave differently. A conversion tool can put everything on one scale, but it cannot make unlike market rules identical. Before acting on a price difference, check that both selections settle on the same event definition and the same void or push conditions.
Practical tips
- Convert all prices to one format—decimal is convenient for comparison—before calculating differences.
- Include exchange commission when comparing a lay or back price with a bookmaker quote.
- Make sure both books are pricing the same line, period, handicap, and settlement rule.
- Do not treat a tiny apparent arbitrage as usable until you account for rounding and stake limits.
- Record the time of each quote when comparing fast-moving markets; stale prices can create false opportunities.
