This group focuses on the money side of a bet: stake, return, gross payout, net profit, commission, tax adjustments, break-even points, and target-profit sizing. It is useful when the question is not 'will this outcome happen?' but 'what does this price mean for the amount I am risking and the amount I could receive?' The calculators cover both simple single bets and situations where fees or deductions change the headline return.
Keep stake, payout, and profit separate. A return of 200 on a 100 stake does not mean a 200 profit; part of the return is your original stake. The same distinction matters when comparing bookmakers that display winnings differently. If tax, exchange commission, cash-out deductions, or other charges apply, calculate them on the correct base rather than subtracting an arbitrary percentage from the final figure.
Practical tips
- Check whether a bookmaker's displayed 'return' includes your original stake.
- Enter commission or tax only where it actually applies; different jurisdictions and platforms use different rules.
- Use target-profit tools backwards to see the required stake before placing a bet, not after.
- For comparisons, calculate net profit rather than headline payout.
- Round stakes only after the calculation so small rounding errors do not compound across several selections.
