How to use this calculator

  • Enter the total lessons in the exam course.
  • Enter how many lessons are already completed.
  • Add the number of days remaining before the exam.
  • Enter the review ratio needed after completing lessons.

What the result means

The calculator shows whether your current course progress can reach completion before exam day while still leaving review time.

Completion Rate = Completed Lessons ÷ Total Lessons × 100. Required Daily Lessons = Remaining Lessons ÷ Days Left. Review Load = Remaining Lessons × Review Ratio.

A course is not truly complete if there is no time left for review, practice, and error correction.

Example calculation

For a 100-lesson course with 68 completed and 14 days left, 32 lessons remain. You need about 2.29 lessons per day before review time.

Tips for better results

  • Finish lectures several days before the exam.
  • Pair each lesson block with short problem practice.
  • If daily lessons exceed capacity, skip low-value review videos and focus on weak lessons.

FAQ

Can I finish my online course before exams?

You can finish if the required lessons per day fit your available time and you still have review days before the exam.

How many course lessons should I study each day?

Divide remaining lessons by the number of days left, then add extra time for review and practice questions.

Is my course study pace fast enough for finals?

Your pace is fast enough when required daily lessons are realistic and the projected finish date is before the exam review period.

Should I prioritize unfinished lessons or review first?

If the course is far from complete, prioritize core unfinished lessons. If completion is close, shift more time to review and practice.

How much review time should I add after finishing a course?

A practical starting point is 20% to 30% of the remaining lesson workload, increased for difficult subjects.
