How to use this calculator
- Enter your planned routine sessions for the month.
- Add how many sessions you actually completed.
- Enter the average minutes per session and missed days.
- Use the score to adjust routine size or timing.
Use this monthly routine calculator to measure how consistently you followed a routine this month. Estimate completion rate, total routine time, missed sessions, habit stability, and the actions needed to make the routine easier to maintain.
A high routine completion rate means the habit fits your schedule. A low stability score suggests the routine may be too large, poorly timed, or not linked to a reliable trigger.
Consistency is more important than session length. A smaller routine completed regularly is usually more useful than an ambitious routine that collapses.
If you planned 30 sessions and completed 24, your routine completion rate is 80%. At 25 minutes per session, total routine time is 10 hours for the month.
Divide completed routine sessions by target sessions and review missed days to judge whether the routine is stable.
For a daily routine, completing 24 to 27 days out of 30 is a strong consistency range.
Track missed sessions by weekday and compare patterns; the weakest weekday usually needs a smaller or earlier routine.
Make the routine smaller, schedule it after an existing behavior, and remove friction before the session begins.
A completion rate above 85% is strong, 60% to 84% is moderate, and below 60% needs redesign.
