How to use this calculator
- Enter the total task count for the period.
- Enter the number of completed tasks.
- Add remaining work days.
- Enter team size and calculate the daily target.
Estimate whether your team can finish its remaining tasks on time. This calculator shows completion rate, daily task target, per-member workload, and a task health score for planning.
The result shows whether the remaining task volume is realistic for the available team size and remaining days.
Task counts should represent comparable units. Split very large tasks before using this calculator.
For 180 total tasks and 120 completed tasks, 60 remain. With 10 work days left and 8 people, the team needs 6 tasks per day, or 7.5 remaining tasks per member.
Compare the daily required task count with your team’s actual completion pace from the last one or two weeks.
Divide remaining tasks by team members, then adjust for skill and availability differences.
Divide completed tasks by total tasks and multiply by 100.
Teams often fall behind because work is unevenly sized, blocked, or concentrated on a few people.
A healthy workload leaves enough capacity for review, rework, and urgent issues instead of filling every available hour.
