How to use this calculator
- Choose a reporting period.
- Enter revenue earned in that same period.
- Count unique active fans and unique paying fans.
- Set how many comparable periods occur in a year.
Measure how much creator marketplace revenue your active audience generates on average. This calculator shows revenue per active fan, revenue per paying fan, the share of fans who paid, and a simple annualized rate. Keeping the audience window aligned with the revenue period makes the result useful for comparing campaigns, releases, or channels without letting raw follower counts hide weak monetization.
Revenue per fan measures monetization across the full active audience. Revenue per paying fan isolates purchaser value, so the two should not be confused.
This is a planning estimate based on the values entered. Actual platform statements, attribution, refunds, taxes, and timing may differ.
If $25,000 is earned from 10,000 active fans, revenue per fan is 25,000 ÷ 10,000 = $2.50. With 500 paying fans, revenue per paying fan is $50 and the payer share is 5%.
Use unique fans who were meaningfully active in the same period; follower totals can overstate the reachable audience.
Yes. Label and compare periods consistently so fee changes do not distort the trend.
The paying-fan metric divides revenue by the smaller group that actually purchased.
Count each paying fan once in the period, while including all of their purchases in revenue.
No. It simply extends the current period rate and assumes performance stays unchanged.
