OEE = Availability × Performance × Quality, where Availability = run time ÷ planned time, Performance = (ideal cycle time × total count) ÷ run time, and Quality = good count ÷ total count.
All time and output values must refer to the same measurement boundary.
What the result means
OEE combines time loss, speed loss, and quality loss into one percentage. Its three components show where the measured loss occurred.
Use an attainable ideal cycle time for the same product and equipment. Performance is capped at 100% for display because values above 100% usually signal an input or standard-time mismatch.
