No. The selected file is read and processed inside your browser. Closing or resetting the page releases its temporary preview URLs.
What happens to image metadata in the output?
Canvas-based exports normally omit EXIF and GPS blocks, so the new file generally contains pixels rather than the original camera metadata.
Can I use this tool on a phone?
Yes, for ordinary photos. Very large images can exceed a phone browser's memory, so reduce the source dimensions first if processing stops.
