How to use this image tool
- Select an image from your device.
- Set the options for this job.
- Choose Apply unsharp mask, review the result, and download the new file.
Sharpen edges with a configurable unsharp mask. Set radius, amount, and threshold to control where sharpening appears.
A blurred copy is subtracted from the original to find local edges. The selected amount adds that difference back only where it passes the threshold.
Sharpening increases edge contrast; it does not recreate genuinely missing focus or detail.
PNG, JPEG, and WebP inputs. The radius is capped at 8 px and images above 24 megapixels are rejected to limit browser workload.

No. Processing runs in the browser. A pinned library is loaded only when needed, but your selected image bytes are not sent to it or to Callimage.
Canvas-generated image outputs generally omit EXIF and GPS metadata. Keep the original if that information matters.
Decoding, pixel processing, color profiles, and lossy output encoding can change color or fine detail slightly.
Yes, on a modern mobile browser, although large images may exceed available memory. The tool rejects unusually large inputs before intensive work.
