What this tool does

Analyze multiple images and group them as square, portrait, landscape, wide, or tall using their decoded pixel dimensions.

The tool decodes real image pixels, applies the selected operation, and creates a new downloadable Blob.

Processing is local. Browser memory and format decoding support determine the practical file limit.

Supported formats

PNG, JPEG, WebP, and other browser-decodable image formats are supported unless the input is specifically limited to ICO.

Tips for better results

  • Keep an untouched original.
  • Check fine edges and text at full size.
  • Use dimensions required by the destination.

FAQ

Does group images by aspect ratio upload my images?

No. Processing runs in your current browser tab. The page does not automatically send the selected image to a server.

Why can a large image fail to process?

Browsers limit canvas dimensions and memory. Very large pixel counts may exceed the limit even when the compressed file itself is small.

Does the downloaded file keep EXIF metadata?

Canvas-based exports normally omit EXIF metadata. Metadata reports only contain fields the browser and parser can read.

Which browsers work best with this tool?

A current desktop version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari is recommended. Format decoding support can differ by browser.

Can I use the result for print or social media?

Yes, when the exported pixel dimensions suit the destination. Check the displayed dimensions before downloading.
