How to use this image tool

  1. Select the image files.
  2. Review the available options and limits.
  3. Run the tool and inspect the output statistics.
  4. Download the newly generated result.

What this tool does

Use this to audit a folder of images before publishing, archiving, or handing files to another person. Each image is decoded locally to confirm its dimensions.

One CSV row is created per successfully decoded image, with spreadsheet-safe escaping.

The result is calculated from the selected file in this browser session. Large images may use substantial memory.

Supported formats

Uses image formats that the current browser can decode. JPEG, PNG, and WebP have the broadest support. Animated images are read as a single decoded frame.

Tips for better results

  • Keep the original file until you have checked the download.
  • Test demanding settings on a smaller copy first.
  • Compare the preview at 100% zoom when judging edges or compression.

FAQ

Does Image Inventory to CSV upload my image?

No. Processing happens in your browser. The page does not send the selected image to a server.

Why can an image fail to open?

The browser may not decode that file variant, the file may be damaged, or its pixel dimensions may exceed available memory.

Does the download preserve camera metadata?

No guarantee is made. Canvas-generated images normally omit original EXIF and other application metadata.

Can I use the result for print work?

Yes for planning and ordinary printing, but browser rendering does not provide press-grade ICC color management.

What happens when I press Reset?

The selected files, previews, generated Blob, progress, and temporary object URLs are cleared from the page.
