How to use Rotate PDF Pages

  1. Upload one PDF.
  2. Enter All or the pages that need correction.
  3. Select an angle, rotate the pages, and download the result.

What this tool does

Rotation metadata is updated on selected pages and the modified page set is saved into a new PDF.

New rotation = current page rotation + selected angle, normalized to 0–359°.

Mixed-size pages are supported. Visual cropping already present in the source is not repaired.

Supported files and limits

Standard PDF files supported by pdf-lib 1.17.1 are processed locally. Empty, damaged, or encrypted PDFs may be rejected. Available browser memory limits practical file size.

Tips for better results

  • Use 90° clockwise for pages scanned sideways to the left.
  • Check pages that already contain rotation metadata.
  • Rotate only the affected range in mixed-orientation documents.

FAQ

Can I rotate only selected PDF pages?

Yes. Enter a range such as 3-6 or a list such as 1,4,9.

Does rotating PDF pages reduce quality?

No raster conversion is used; the page rotation property is changed.

Can pages have different existing rotations?

Yes. The chosen angle is added to each selected page’s current rotation.

How do I turn an upside-down PDF page upright?

Select the page and choose 180°.

Why might a scanned page still look crooked?

Page rotation fixes 90-degree orientation, not small-angle scan skew.
