Working with PDF pages without losing the thread
PDF organization tools are useful when the document is basically correct but the page order, page selection, or file structure is not. This is where you can split a long report into smaller files, pull out only the pages you need, combine several PDFs into one package, rotate scanned pages, or rearrange sections before sending the final copy. These jobs look simple, but a small page-order mistake can make a contract, packet, or submission confusing to read.
Before making changes, decide what the finished document should look like from the reader's point of view. If you are merging files, check whether title pages, appendices, and blank separator pages belong in the final sequence. If you are extracting pages, confirm the page numbers against the visible document, especially when the PDF contains a cover or unnumbered front matter.
