How to use this PDF tool

What this tool does

It reads the document with pdf-lib 1.17.1 and works with the standard AcroForm field collection. The original file is not returned as a processed result.

Complex XFA forms, encrypted files, and custom widgets may not be supported. Editing can invalidate digital signatures.

Can this copy pdf form field values read XFA forms?

No. This browser tool supports standard AcroForm fields. Dynamic XFA forms may appear empty or unsupported.

Does this tool upload my PDF or form report?

No. Processing runs in your browser. The page does not intentionally transmit the selected files.

Will password-protected PDFs work with this tool?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may not load. Remove protection with the document owner's permission before processing.

Are signatures preserved when this tool creates a PDF?
