Preparing copy for documents that people will actually read
Publishing work often starts with good text and ends with small formatting problems: inconsistent headings, awkward line breaks, weak captions, uneven lists, or metadata that was added at the last minute. These tools help prepare document copy before it moves into a CMS, PDF workflow, newsletter, report, or other publishing system.
Use the tools to make the text consistent, but make editorial decisions in context. A heading that looks fine by itself may be repetitive in a full document, and a shortened caption may omit the fact a reader needs. Before publication, review the whole page or document rather than approving individual snippets in isolation.
