Making text easier to read and use

Accessibility work is often less about rewriting everything and more about removing small barriers. These tools help check text alternatives, labels, heading language, link wording, reading order notes, and other pieces of copy that affect how people understand an interface or document. They are useful when you are preparing content for a website, app, form, email, or document that needs to work for a wider range of readers.

Treat the output as a review aid rather than a pass-or-fail certificate. Good accessibility still depends on context: a short link label may be fine beside a clear heading but confusing on its own, and an image description should explain what matters in that specific setting. Use the tools to spot weak wording, then read the final text in the same place where your audience will encounter it.
