Find the highest bag price that keeps a cat food plan within a chosen daily budget. The calculation combines bag weight, the daily portion, and your target daily food cost. It also converts the result to a break-even price per kilogram and estimates how many days the bag lasts, making different package sizes easier to compare on the same basis.
Bag days = bag weight × 1,000 ÷ daily grams. Break-even bag price = bag days × target daily cost.
The break-even bag price is the maximum purchase price that produces exactly the target daily cost, assuming the entered portion and no waste.
