Formula
Dose (mg) = weight (kg) × prescribed dose (mg/kg). Volume (mL) = dose ÷ concentration. Administrations = floor((duration × 24 − tiny offset) ÷ interval) + 1, assuming the first dose occurs at time zero.
What the result means
The main result is the calculated liquid volume for one administration. The schedule count includes an initial dose at time zero and every full interval that fits within the treatment duration.
Veterinary safety notice: use only the dose and concentration printed on the prescription. Confirm unit conversions, maximum doses, missed-dose instructions, and rounding with a veterinarian.
