Formula
Active ingredient per treatment = usable gallons × labeled mg/gal. Stock volume = active ingredient ÷ stock strength. Treatments = floor((duration × 24 − tiny offset) ÷ interval) + 1, with the first treatment at time zero.
What the result means
The main result is the measured stock-solution volume for one treatment. The total assumes an initial treatment immediately and repeats only at full entered intervals.
Follow the product label or aquatic veterinarian. Confirm whether volume is stated for actual water, whether water changes require redosing, and whether invertebrates, plants, or biological filtration need special precautions.
