Formula

Predicted time = known time × (target distance ÷ known distance)^fatigue exponent.

What the result means

An exponent of 1.00 assumes unchanged pace. Larger exponents add more slowdown with distance. Conditions, pacing, and rowing format can move the actual result.

This calculator is an estimate for training and planning. It does not diagnose readiness, injury, or medical recovery.

A 7:00 result for 2,000 m projected to 5,000 m with a 1.06 exponent gives about 18:29, or roughly 1:50.9 per 500 m.
