Convert a rowing result into a distance-aware performance score against a reference pace you choose. Formula

Performance score = reference 500 m pace ÷ result 500 m pace × 100. Estimated watts = 2.8 ÷ (pace seconds ÷ 500)³.

What the result means

A score of 100% matches the reference; above 100% is faster. Because you supply the reference, this is a transparent personal comparison rather than an official ranking.

This calculator is an estimate for training and planning. It does not diagnose readiness, injury, or medical recovery.

Example calculation

A 2,000 m result in 420 seconds has a 1:45/500 m pace. Against 450 seconds for 2,000 m (1:52.5/500 m), the performance score is 107.1%.
