Formula
Score = (grade index + 1) × 10 × style factor × attempt factor + volume bonus
Attempt factor = 0.7 + 0.3 ÷ attempts. Volume bonus = min(successful climbs, 20) × 2.
What the result means
The score rewards harder climbing, more demanding completion styles, fewer attempts, and useful session volume. Its best use is comparing your own sessions recorded with the same conventions.
Climbing grades are subjective and vary by area, setter, style, and conditions. Do not treat the score as an official cross-discipline ranking.
