What the result means

The total is an estimate for the sources represented by the inputs, not a complete life-cycle inventory unless your factors and boundary make it one.

A 500 km route, two legs, one traveler, and a factor of 0.115 kg CO₂e per passenger-km gives 1,000 passenger-km and 0.115 t CO₂e (115 kg).
