What the result means

Usable coverage estimates unique area addressed during the day. It is lower than ideal swept area because real routes lose time and repeat some ground.

Coverage does not prove service quality or task completion. Validate effective width and path efficiency with a site trial.

Example calculation

Eight robots moving productively at 1.2 m/s with a 0.8 m width for 6 hours have 165,888 m² of theoretical swept area. At 70% efficiency and 10% overlap, usable coverage is 104,509 m².
