Does removing hyperlinks delete the visible cell text?

No. The displayed cell value remains while the hyperlink target and tooltip are removed.

Can this remove email and website links from every worksheet?

Yes. The tool scans all worksheet cells in the selected workbook.

Will formulas that create links be removed?

The tool removes stored hyperlink objects. HYPERLINK formulas are formulas and are not rewritten automatically.

Are external links elsewhere in the workbook removed?

No. This tool targets cell hyperlinks, not every external workbook reference, query, chart, or macro.

Will all Excel formatting be perfectly preserved?

Basic worksheet content is retained, but advanced Excel features may not survive a browser-based workbook rewrite.
