Standard PDF files with the relevant stored structure are supported. Password-protected, malformed, dynamic XFA, and unusually large files may not be readable.

No. Processing runs locally in your browser. The page loads its PDF libraries from a pinned CDN, but your selected document is not sent to a server.

PDF appearance and accessibility structure are separate. This tool reports stored bookmarks, tags, annotations, labels, or extracted text rather than inferring meaning from appearance.
The original file is never changed. The downloaded report is separate from the source PDF.
Check whether the PDF is tagged or has bookmarks, searchable text, annotations, or page labels as appropriate. Add that structure in an authoring or remediation tool and run the check again.
