Reviewing text for risk without stripping away context
Moderation tools can help flag profanity, harassment, suspicious patterns, unsafe wording, or content that may need a closer human review. They are useful for community submissions, comments, support queues, chat logs, and other text where volume makes manual screening difficult. Their best role is usually triage: helping you decide what deserves attention first.
Context matters enormously. A word may be quoted, reclaimed, educational, or part of a harmless name, while a threatening message may avoid obvious keywords entirely. Do not make high-impact decisions from a simple keyword result alone. Define escalation rules and preserve enough context for a reviewer to understand what actually happened.
