Capacity = Staff × Hours per day × Working days × Orders per productive hour × Utilization

What the result means

The result estimates maximum orders processed during the entered period at the stated productive utilization.

This is a throughput estimate. Complexity mix, rework, system downtime, and batching should be reflected in the observed processing rate or utilization.

Example calculation

Four staff × 8 hours × 22 days × 2 orders per hour × 75% gives capacity of 1,056 orders, based on 528 productive hours.
