Formula

Crew-days = total area ÷ production per crew-day
Scheduled days = crew-days ÷ crews ÷ (1 − downtime %)

What the result means

Scheduled workdays spread the productive requirement over the available share of planned time.

The estimate does not automatically add curing periods, weekends, holidays, inspections, or sequencing constraints.

Example calculation

For 24,000 ft² at 3,000 ft² per crew-day with one crew, 8 productive days are needed. At 15% downtime, the estimate is 9.41 scheduled workdays.
