What the result means

The result converts a desired concentration increase into active nutrient mass, then adjusts for product strength. It does not account for biological uptake, precipitation, or nutrients already added through feed.

Dose conservatively, verify the product label, protect fish and biofilters, and retest before adding more.

Example calculation

For 1,000 gallons rising from 10 to 30 mg/L with a 10% product, the system needs about 757.1 g of product containing 75.7 g active nutrient.
