Formula

Percent inputs are divided by 100 in the calculation. Unit conversions are shown in the results where applicable.

What the result means

The main ratio reports saleable fresh crop per kilogram of nutrient product. The dry-matter result is better for comparisons between crops with different moisture contents.

This is an input-efficiency ratio, not an animal-feed FCR. Include only nutrient product assigned to the same crop batch and period.

Example calculation

Using 120 kg of 18% nutrient product for an 8,000 kg harvest that is 92% saleable and 94% moisture gives 61.33 kg saleable crop per kg product.

  • Run low, expected, and high cases instead of relying on one forecast.
