What the result means

The forecast expresses expected saleable crop weight for the entered number of cycles. It is useful for capacity planning and scenario comparisons, but does not model partial rack occupancy or changing crop mix.

Use average harvested weight from your own batches and count only productive tiers in the forecast.

A 1,000 sq ft footprint with 5 tiers, 3 plants/sq ft, 0.35 lb per plant, 8 cycles, and 7% loss forecasts 39,060 lb saleable yield.
