Formula

IF = NP ÷ FTP; TSS = hours × IF² × 100; score = capped blend of IF, duration, and W/kg

What the result means

The performance score is a compact personal index. IF and estimated TSS remain the more interpretable components for reviewing the effort.

TSS is an estimate and depends heavily on the accuracy of FTP and normalized power. It is not a medical or coaching prescription.

Example calculation

At 240 W NP, 260 W FTP, 90 minutes, and 72 kg, IF is 0.923, estimated TSS is 127.81, and the performance score is 71.96 / 100.
