Formula

Estimated TSS = duration in hours × (normalized power ÷ FTP)² × 100

What the result means

Estimated TSS summarizes duration and relative intensity. The same number may create different fatigue for different riders or circumstances.

This independent estimate may differ slightly from proprietary platform calculations and should not be treated as medical guidance.

Example calculation

A 120-minute ride at 220 W normalized power with 260 W FTP produces an IF of 0.846 and 143.20 estimated TSS. Three similar rides project to 429.59 TSS per week.
