Formula

Power-to-weight = average power ÷ body mass. Mechanical work = average power × bike seconds ÷ 1,000.

What the result means

Watts per kilogram describes relative cycling output, not total triathlon performance. Aerodynamics, terrain, pacing, and run durability remain important.

This calculator is an estimate for training and planning. It does not diagnose readiness, injury, or medical recovery.

At 210 W and 72 kg, power-to-weight is 2.92 W/kg. Over 150 minutes that equals 1,890 kJ of mechanical work; 225 W normalized power is 1.07 times average power.
