Formula

Estimated watts = 2.8 ÷ (pace seconds ÷ 500)³. Power-to-weight = estimated watts ÷ body mass.

What the result means

The power estimate follows the common Concept2 pace relationship. Work per stroke is a session average and does not describe peak handle force.

This calculator is an estimate for training and planning. It does not diagnose readiness, injury, or medical recovery.

Example calculation

At 2:00/500 m, estimated power is 203 W. At 75 kg that is 2.71 W/kg; for 20 minutes at 28 spm, average work is about 435 joules per stroke.
