How to use Extract PDF Pages

  1. Upload the source PDF.
  2. Enter pages such as 2-4,7.
  3. Choose the output order, click Extract Pages, and download.

What this tool does

The selected pages are copied into a separate PDF while the uploaded source remains unchanged.

Range 2-4,7 creates a new PDF containing four selected pages.

Invalid, duplicate, or out-of-range entries are reported before a result is created.

Supported files and limits

Standard PDF files supported by pdf-lib 1.17.1 are processed locally. Empty, damaged, or encrypted PDFs may be rejected. Available browser memory limits practical file size.

Tips for better results

  • Use Original order for predictable filing.
  • Extract in smaller groups when working with huge scans.
  • Verify that confidential neighboring pages were not selected.

FAQ

Enter individual pages separated by commas, such as 1,4,9.

Can I combine page ranges and single pages?

Yes. A value such as 2-5,8,11-12 is supported.

Does extracting pages modify my original PDF?

No. The browser creates a new PDF and leaves the source file unchanged.

Can extracted pages be placed in a custom order?

Choose Entered order and list pages in the sequence you want.

Why can an encrypted PDF fail to extract?

The local PDF library may not be able to parse password-protected or damaged files.
