How to use Reorder PDF Pages

  1. Upload one PDF.
  2. Enter the full new order, such as 4,1,2,3.
  3. Process the file and download the reordered PDF.

What this tool does

Every source page is copied once into a new document according to the requested sequence.

For a four-page file, 4,1,2,3 moves the last page to the front.

The entered order must include every page exactly once when using the custom option.

Supported files and limits

Standard PDF files supported by pdf-lib 1.17.1 are processed locally. Empty, damaged, or encrypted PDFs may be rejected. Available browser memory limits practical file size.

Tips for better results

  • Use Reverse all pages for back-to-front scans.
  • Check that no number is missing or repeated.
  • For complex rearrangements, draft the order in a text editor first.

FAQ

How do I move the last PDF page to the first position?

Enter the last page number first, followed by the remaining page numbers.

Can I reverse the entire PDF page order?

Yes. Choose the Reverse all pages preset.

Why does custom reorder reject duplicate pages?

Reorder is designed to move each page once; use Organize PDF Pages to duplicate or omit pages.

Does page reordering preserve image quality?

Pages are copied without rendering, so visible page quality is not intentionally changed.

Can I reorder pages in a password-protected PDF?

The tool cannot process a file the local library is unable to open.
