Formula

Conversion ratio = marketable grape weight ÷ tracked input weight. Input per ton = input weight ÷ (grape weight ÷ 2,000).

Example calculation

A 180,000 lb marketable grape harvest with 4,500 lb of tracked input equals 40 lb grapes per lb input, 50 lb input per ton, and 12,000 lb grapes per acre across 15 acres.
