Evaluate a tennis match against the strength of the opponent and the share of games you won. This tool blends an Elo-style expected win probability with the actual result and game percentage to create a 0–100 match performance score. It is useful for reviewing one match consistently, but it is not an official UTR, NTRP, WTN, or federation rating update.
A score near 50 represents a broadly expected performance for the matchup. Winning as an underdog lifts the score, while losing heavily as a favorite reduces it. Use the components to understand why.
Rating systems use different scales and proprietary update rules. Enter two ratings from the same system and treat this as an independent review tool.
A 1600-rated player losing 10–13 to a 1650-rated opponent has a 42.9% expected win chance and wins 43.5% of games. The resulting performance score is 26.6/100 and the estimated single-match performance rating is 1604.
The formula assumes an Elo-like 500–3000 scale, so raw UTR values are not appropriate without a valid conversion.
Your expected win probability falls, so a competitive scoreline or win receives more credit.
A win contributes strongly, but game share and whether you were favored also affect the total.
No. It is a single-match estimate derived from game share and should not replace an official update.
Use completed regulation games; do not count individual tiebreak points as games.
