How to use Insert PDF into PDF

  1. Select the base PDF first and the insert PDF second.
  2. Enter 0 for the front, or a base page number after which to insert.
  3. Click Insert PDF and download the combined result.

What this tool does

Pages from the insert file are copied between pages of the base file, producing one new combined PDF.

Position 0 inserts before page 1; position 3 inserts after base page 3.

Select exactly two PDFs. File-selection order determines which document is treated as the base by default.

Supported files and limits

Standard PDF files supported by pdf-lib 1.17.1 are processed locally. Empty, damaged, or encrypted PDFs may be rejected. Available browser memory limits practical file size.

Tips for better results

  • Give the files clear names before selecting them.
  • Use Append inserted PDF to place it at the end.
  • Review page sizes when combining scans from different sources.
