How to use Replace PDF Pages

  1. Select exactly two PDFs: base first, replacement second.
  2. Enter the base page positions to replace.
  3. Choose how replacement pages are matched, process, and download.

What this tool does

A new PDF is built page by page. Selected base positions receive pages copied from the replacement document.

Targets 2,5 with first-pages mode use replacement pages 1 and 2 at positions 2 and 5.

Select the base PDF first and the replacement PDF second. Replacement pages keep their original dimensions.

Supported files and limits

Standard PDF files supported by pdf-lib 1.17.1 are processed locally. Empty, damaged, or encrypted PDFs may be rejected. Available browser memory limits practical file size.

Tips for better results

  • Extract the needed replacement pages into a short PDF first.
  • Check that target pages are listed in the intended order.
  • Keep the base file until the replacement result is approved.
