Input must be a standard PDF that can be opened without a password. The output is PDF, except split operations which return a ZIP containing PDF files.

The tool clears title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date, modification date, and XMP metadata when present.
It does not intentionally alter page content or order, though the document is rewritten to create the cleaned file.
Yes. Embedded files, comments, layers, form values, and redactions are separate from document metadata and are not removed here.
It may be slightly smaller, but size reduction is not the purpose of this tool.
